This exclusive collection supports the rebuild project for our marae, celebrating our heritage and paving the way for future generations. Design Inspiration: The design embodies the essence of our whenua. The green symbolizes the Ngahere (forest) of Taheke, representing our deep connection to the land and its natural beauty. The gold represents the future path of our mokopuna (grandchildren), reflecting hope, prosperity, and the bright future we are building together.

Mahuri Restoration T-Shirts
We are proud to present the design we have chosen to lead off as our second official Mahuri Marae restoration T-Shirts.
Kia ora e te whānau! 2023 and 2025 Mahuri restoration T-Shirts are NOW AVAILABLE. Mahuri Trustees are excited to offer our supporters t-shirts available for you and your whānau to purchase, just in time for koanga. This is an evolving series of supporter apparel, that we will be offering for purchase for you to wear with pride, and help support our Marae funding.
Our 2023 design depicts our whakapapa connections to our tupuna Mahuri and represents our whare. The next design we see the addition of Amo (upright pou). They are Mahuri's siblings showing our connection to our Otaua and Waima whanaunga. The left represents Kohuru (Te Whatarangi) and Kuiawai on the right hand side. We would like to acknowledge our very own renowned artist Arekatera (Katz) Maihi for his design offering, along with the support of our fundraising team, Kaumatua and Kuia for making this possible.
All T-Shirts are $40.00 incl GST + $10 Postage (all the proceeds going to our Marae Funding).
PRE-ORDER Ordering is now open, Once we have our first 100 shirts pre-ordered. we will place the order in with the printing company.
